Whole Foods Coupons

I stopped in at Whole Foods yesterday because someone mentioned that they had coupons. I love Whole Foods but do not regularly shop there because it is soooooo expensive. They do have the most amazing selection of cheeses and other treats, but I just can't bring myself to pay $6-$10 per lb. I would rather wait until after Christmas when Harry & David slash their prices and give free shipping to sell off all their goodies. Anyway, there is something there that I will stop and occasionally buy. Its' the yogurt drink Kefir. My biochemist/cancer researching professor stepdad (really - he looks at every ingredient in everything in my house) introduced this to me, and it actually tastes great and is fantastically good for you. Try the Vanilla, yummm. There is a coupon in their book for $1 off of one Lifeway product. Lifeway makes Kefir and the 8 oz bottle is $1.39. Yesterday, Thrifty Mama mentioned that they were on sale for $1 and the coupon made them free. Unfortunately, Lifeway is not on sale at my location, but it is still a good deal. I bought two yesterday and ended up paying .90 for both. On an even better note, some of the coupons in their booklet could probably be used at Publix as Publix does carry a few of these products.
