Have you been thinking that you would like to blow the dust off an old instrument that you haven’t played in a while and begin playing again? Do you play at home now and then and think about what it would be like to be a part of a musical group and have a chance to perform again? Well, here is your opportunity… Join the Williamson County Community Band! Any and all instruments are welcome!!! Join at any time!!! Rehearsals are held at the Franklin High School Band Room every Thursday evening from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Call Band Director Ken Krause at (615) 370-3462 for more information.

Great Site for Listening to Music!

I have been listening to this site for a while now. All you have to do is enter the name of someone you like to listen to and it produces a play list similar in style. So if you like Jason Mraz, enter "Mraz" and you have a cool playlist. You can also enter up to three artists to create a single playlist (option midway down the page). The other option I like is that if you don't like the chosen song you can just click to the next one.

It is a great way to discover other artists. Check it out at Last.fm. You can join the site and get other great goodies, but I am usually in such a hurry that I don't bother. Enjoy!

Here's my recommendation for a relaxing evening: Get the kids a new DS game that consumes them, throw this music on the iPod with great speakers, sit on the back porch with a friend or loved one to enjoy the cool fall weather and drink this. Everyone's happy!
