Sunday, August 7th, 2:00 – 4:00 pm
Join Mayor Karl Dean for this free community celebration as we welcome the beginning of a new school year with entertainment, educational activities, informational booths, and school supplies. The event will take place at the Bridgestone Arena and doors open at 2:00 p.m. All Metro Nashville Public Schools students are invited to attend. Students must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Please bring a canned item to the event for the Second Harvest Food Bank. The most needed items are canned meat, peanut butter, canned fruit, macaroni and cheese, canned beans, rice, and cereal.
