This is not part of Harris Teeter, but I wanted to thank you for alerting me to the Reynolds Foil close-out. I ended up buying lots of the foil with coupons (it came to less than 2 cents/sq ft. Really a good price! :)
I just went to the Harris Teeter in Belle Meade and the cashier went through all my coupons and pulled out the ones that state "Do Not Double or Triple". They would only take these at face value. Just wondering if you've had this experience at your HT. The weird thing is that I went to the same store on Wednesday night and didn't have this problem. Either none of my Q's were DND or that cashier didn't care. I guess they're cracking down on the coupon policy. I'm going to try the one at 21st Ave tomorrow to see if I can get the items with the DND coupons there.
Hurrayic,
Glad I could help! It was a great price.
Susan,
That happened to me at the Brentwood H.T. I avoid that store unless I am absolutely sure all my coupons do not say DND. I have had much better results at the 21st Ave and the Franklin H.T.
The DND wording is actually a reminder by the manufacturer that they will not reimburse the store for doubling or tripling. Most stores will double and triple as a way to compete with other stores regardless (unless it's coding begins with a 9 and then the computer prevents doubling or tripling). It is the option of the store as to whether they will or won't. Of course, I prefer to shop at those who will.;)
Thanks for the info! I went to the 21st Ave HT last night and they took all my coupons, no problem! I even ended up with overage on the Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls. I had some of the $0.95/1 printables from a while back and the computer took off an extra $1.30 on each for a total of $2.25 (the regular price even though they were on sale for $1.67). Weird...but no complaints. It made my Pillsbury catalina even more of a money maker!
