Harris Teeter Catalina Trip

It's not often that you can leave a store with bags of groceries and more money to spend than when you went in. Harris Teeter has a great catalina deal (8/1 - 8/14) where you buy any 10 Kellogg's, Keebler, Sunshine, Eggo and Morningstar Farm products (3.8 oz or larger any flavor mix and match) in one shopping order and save $10 on a future order with a catalina coupon. There are many coupons for these products and they are on sale this week.

I did two transactions this evening:

Transaction 1:

4 Kellogg's Pop Tarts, 2.19, 50% off
-(2) $1/2 IP Qs
Final Price: .59 ea

2 Froot Loops Cereal, 3.19, 50% off
-$1.50/2 IP Q
Final Price: .84 ea

Frosted Flakes, 3.39, 50% off
-.70/1 Peelie (from previous trip purchase), doubled
Final Price: .29

Kellogg's Nutri-Grain Bars, 3.55, 50% off
-.50/1 MF Q, doubled
Final Price: .77

2 Eggo Waffles, 2.00
-$1/2 MF Q
Final Price: 1.50 ea

Total before sales/coupons: 28.15
Sales: 12.08
Coupons: 6.90
OOP: $9.17
Catalina: $10 oyno (actually the machine that was supposed to print it jammed so they gave me a gift card)

Transaction 2:

4 Kellogg's Pop Tarts, 2.19, 50% off
-(2) $1/2 IP Qs
Final Price: .59 ea

2 Froot Loops Cereal,
3.19, 50% off
1 Apple Jack's Cereal,
3.19, 50% off
-$1.25/3 IP Q
Final Price: 1.17 ea

Rice Krispies Cereal, 3.75,
50% off
-.70/1 Blinkie, doubled
Final Price: .47

2 Kellogg's Nutri-Grain Bars, 3.55, 50% off
-$1/2 IP Q
Final Price: 1.27 ea

Total before sales/coupons: 30.25
Sales: 14.64
Coupons: 5.65

Thus, I bought $58.40 in groceries for $19.13 and Harris Teeter paid me $20 toward my future groceries for a profit of .87 and a ton of cereal.
