I usually shop at the Mt. Juliet Publix, and they have very recently been very particular with my coupons, scanning each item, and then the coupon. It takes forever, and those nehind me in line get really irritated. I am very careful to never "cheat" with my coupons, so I'm not worried, I just wondered if this sudden change was chain wide. My friend said it happened to her in Brentwood as well. I'm so scared they will change their policies.
Just thought you might know....

As always, thanks for the deals. Do you know of a way that I can contact LA Girl? I follow her blog but it doesn't have contact info. Please email me at thrifty.t.treasures@gmail.com with any contact info.

Tshanina, you can reach me at starbucksgirl@hotmail.com.

Or you can just post on the ilovepublix blog (unless you are having problems viewing it). :)

Nice to see you here.

Kim, I shopped at Cool Springs (Moore's Lane) several months ago and they were scanning each item while looking up my items (very frustrating). I said something to customer service about the amount of time that it took as well as the fact that it was making the customers behind me angry. Apparently, other folks must have complained because they haven't done it since.

I would talk to customer service. If you don't get anywhere with voicing your concerns to them then I would email publix corporate and ask that your comments be sent to the District Manager and the store manager. You should get a call back and then you can talk to someone who has the authority to make changes.

Kim, I agree with LA Girl. Publix in Franklin was also behaving in the same manner a few weeks ago but they seemed to have relaxed a bit recently. It can be really frustrating. I have emailed my concerns to corporate in the past and the local managers have called me back to discuss the issues which they have been very responsive about.

LA Girl, thanks for your response! I am so glad to see you visiting! I enjoy your blog.
