Kroger Trip and Free Batteries

I'd read in various places that Kroger had Energizer batteries 10 for $10 (or $1 each), though not all stores were participating. I gathered up all my stray Energizer coupons and made a quick stop on the way home. As luck would have it, my store did have them on sale!

What Kroger did you shop at for the batteries? Were there many left in stock? I'm thinking of taking a trip this morning but don't want to make the time if you think they will be out of stock. :)

There were batteries left, though not many AAs. It was at the Kroger off of Cool Springs Blvd. I did see another place in the store toward the back that had quite a few Energizer batteries that were marked 1.68. I thought that the sale was not part of the store but then stopped in the battery section just in case and found them marked down. It could be that the 1.68 was mismarked. In that case,there are numerous left. Good luck!
