Saturday is the first Saturday of the month! You know what this means... everything at all of the Goodwill stores (except the outlet) will be half-price all day starting at 8 a.m.For those of you who are local and want a shopping challenge, East Literature Magnet School is requesting Science Fiction books for their middle school students. If you find any while shopping and would like to donate them, contact Diane Willard, PTSO president at elmptso (at) gmail.com. Just for your information, most Harry Potter type books are not found in the children's book section of thrift stores. They are usually intermingled in the adult fiction. Look for wizards and dragons on the cover! Happy treasure hunting!
