Is it just too hot to turn on the oven where you are? Here is a great no bake cookie recipe. My mom used to make this when I was a kid. They are great!
Butterscotch Peanut Butter Cookies
Ingredients:
1 6-ounce package butterscotch bits
1/2 cup creamy-style peanut butter
3 cups Corn Flakes or Golden Grahams
Directions:
In the top of a double boiler, heat butterscotch bits and peanut butter over hot, but not boiling water. (I use the easy method and just melt in the microwave.)
Stir until mixture is smooth.
Remove from heat.
Add cereal flakes. Stir until coated.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed-paper-lined cookie sheet.
Refrigerate until firm.
