Cheap Activities for Your Kids
HERE is a great article about activities for your kids that do not break your budget. Another great option is to check out the website of your local sports teams. They often have special events for kids that are free. My oldest son got to spend a day learning baseball from our local professional baseball team. Both of my boys spent four weeks learning how to play hockey with our local NHL team. All free of charge, loaner equipment included. This is especially good for those working moms who, due to their schedules, have a difficult time joining in the organized sports teams.
