Meatza!
This is pizza without the crust and one of my family's favorite low-carb recipes. It is very versatile depending on what pizza ingredients you have on hand.
Meatza
2 pound of extra lean ground beef
2 eggs
Pizza Sauce
4 cups of mozzarella cheese
Toppings of your choice (such as Canadian bacon, pepperoni slices, onions, peppers or mushrooms)
Oregano
Garlic Salt
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375.
In a bowl, mix ground beef, 2 eggs and 1 cup of mozzarella cheese. Add Oregano and Garlic salt. Spread mixture out like a pizza crust on a cookie sheet or large baking dish pressing slightly up the side. Cook until beef is no longer pink. Beef crust will shrink somewhat.
Drain and press dry beef crust with a paper towel. Add pizza sauce, toppings, remainder of cheese and seasonings. Bake until cheese has melted and vegetables have softened about 30-40 minutes.
