It's finally stopped raining in Nashville, so for lunch I made a quick trip to my favorite CVS. A new cashier was there so it didn't go as well as I would have liked, but I still managed to make a gain on my ECBs.
1 Febreze Candle, regularly 7.99, rang up 1.99
- MF Q $2/1 (cashier rang it up as 1.19)
Final Price: .80
5 Soy Joy 6 packs, 6.00
- 2 MF Qs $3/10 bars
Final Price: 4.80 per pack
1 Garnier Fructis Hair Spray, on sale 2.99
-1 MF Q $1/1
Final Price: 1.99
6 Johnson & Johnson Buddies Soap, 1.19
-6 MF Qs $1/1
Final Price: .19 each
-CVS $3/$15
-23.98 ECBs
OOP: $3.27
ECBs Earned: 30 for Soy Joy, $2 for Garnier Fructis, $2 for Fall Spending, and a $10/$50 coupon.
Thus, there was a profit of $6.75 (ECBs Earned - OOP - ECBs Spent). I probably could have done better if I had broken up the transaction, but I did not have the time and I could tell the cashier would have had difficulties.
